Recipe: Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

This cheese cake recipe is terrific… but honestly now… what one isn’t? It is very easy to make.

Enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Recipe:

All you need:

Crust:

1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs
3 tablespoons margarine (I use “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter), melted

Filling:

3 packages (8 oz. each) Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese, softened
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup flour
3 eggs
½ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

All you need to do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix the crumbs and the margarine. Press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

Bake 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven.

Reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees.

Beat the cream cheese, sugar and flour at medium speed until well blended.

Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition.

Blend in sour cream and vanilla.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour filling mixture over crust.

Bake 55 minutes.

Loosen cake from rim of pan (see Tip of the Day), but do not remove until cake is cooled.

Refrigerate.

Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
