Recipe: Seasoned Oven Browned Potatoes

This recipe for seasoned oven browned potatoes is very quick and easy. These are so delicious… you won’t use the packaged seasoning stuff again.

You can use quartered new (red) potatoes like I did or you can use 2 cans of whole potatoes cut in half. I used about 6 medium size potatoes… it should serve 4.

I did use fresh chopped parsley since I have some on hand… you can use either dried or fresh.

Enjoy!

Seaasoned Potatoes Recipe

All you need:

6 medium size red potatoes, quartered
2 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon dried sage
½ teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1-2 teaspoons garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
1 pass with freshly ground black pepper

All you need to do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Clean and quarter the potatoes (leave skins on).

In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Toss to coat evenly.

Turn the potatoes out on a foil lined pan (I use non-stick foil, but the butter and olive oil should keep it from sticking if you use regular foil).

Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes for raw potatoes… bake for 20-30 minutes for canned potatoes. Potatoes should be brown and a little crispy on the outside.
