I keep a Kielbasa in the freezer for just those nights where the same old weeknight meals just won't cut it.
You can quickly defrost a frozen Kielbasa by placing it in a Zip loc bag and putting it in a large bowl of cold water. Yes.. cold water not warm... it will defrost quickly.. I guarantee it. Think ice cube in a glass of water... it defrosts it safely.
