Lil Smokies in a Blanket

These are so easy to make… I used a can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. I just unroll the dough into a long rectangle and cut strips (cut them along the long side so the strips aren’t that long). Then place the little sausage at one end and roll the dough strip around it… it’s as simple as that.

You can roll these ahead and just pop them into the oven when you’re ready….

It’s a great little holiday party snack … serve with mustard and I promise you they will be a hit.

Recipe: Lil Smokies in a Blanket

All you need:

1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
24 fully cooked Lil Smokies cocktail sausages

All you need to do:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or grease it.

On a flat work surface, unroll the crescent dough into one big rectangle.

Cut strips (cut them along the long side so the strips aren’t that long).

Place the little sausage at one end and roll the dough strip around it.

Place them on the cookie sheet, leaving about an inch between them.

Bake at 375 degrees F. for 11 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown.

Immediately remove them from the cookie sheet.

Serve with mustard.
