Easy Cinnamon Roll Waffles

These Cinnamon Roll Waffles are a quick and easy treat that is certainly doable on a weekday or a busy weekend…. The recipe is one of Pillsbury’s …
Admittedly .. in my humble opinion… I don’t think they compare to my “from scratch” recipe… but they were really good.. and for a quick treat breakfast.. I think they’re great.
If you’re thinking of making Cinnamon Roll Waffles on the weekend and have a little extra time.. try my from scratch recipe.. they were scrumptious!  Click here for the recipe.
TIPS
There aren’t many directions with these… it’s more of a “know thine own waffle maker”…. My waffle maker made them relatively quickly… I just followed the manufacturer’s directions that came with my maker.
They come out pretty thick and will not spread to the complete size of your normal waffle… but they will be a good deal thicker.
You can use the icing that comes with it.. but there are 8 cinnamon buns in the can… the icing that comes with it.. will not be enough… so figure on making the extra icing….
I cut back Pillsbury’s icing recipe by half… I made the whole recipe and found it way too much…. Talk about a sugar hit!
I hope you enjoy this quick treat!

Recipe:  Easy Cinnamon Roll Waffles
All you need:
1 can Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting
½ cup powdered sugar
1 ½ tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla
All you have to do:
Follow your manufacturer’s instructions to preheat the waffle maker.
Separate the cinnamon rolls in the can.  Spray the waffle maker sections with cooking oil spray (butter flavor preferred).  Place one in the middle of each waffle section and place the lid down.  Cook until golden brown and completely cooked… about 3-4 minutes.
Meanwhile in a small bowl combine the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
When the waffles are cooked, remove them to plates and drizzle the icing over them.
