Time Limits on Leftovers

Food Safety Tip of the Day

Because temperature and time cause bacteria to grow…it is so important that your refrigerator is cold (at 40 degrees F) and that you don’t keep leftovers too long.

Leftovers should be eaten, frozen or discarded within 3 to 4 days.
