I noticed this on a “Barefoot Contessa” show… she advised using plain white muffin/cupcake paper cups for bar cookies… just flatten them out slightly…. It makes them look so nice and it makes it easier to eat.
Well, I took it a step further… when serving an array of baked goodies, I cut the bar cookies into smaller pieces… and use mini muffin cups…this way people can “taste test” more without overeating and feeling like they need to be rolled home… the beauty of a buffet … is you have an opportunity to taste a variety of foods… if the portions are too big.. people can’t enjoy them as much…
