Over 10 weeks and counting...

It's been over 10 weeks and counting.... and seems the timeline keeps getting pushed out... between deliveries and multiple contractors. it's been definitely a lesson in patience..if you see a large mushroom cloud over south Georgia.. you will know I finally exploded....

The picture above is what will be the stove wall with the stove in the center.  Right now the cabinets are still being put in.. the stove is waiting in my dining room to be moved into place.

This is some of the boxes of Pergo flooring... there are 27 boxes in all.. and they needed to be laid flat.. not touching so air can get around them... for an optimum 72-96 hours before it gets laid down...to get acclimated to the air in the house.  We wanted to do the full recommended 96 hours since it's so humid here in Georgia.

I have boxes all over the place... because I had to leave room for the contractor installing the cabinets... fun fun fun... but exciting!

I'm sharing the pictures... hope you like seeing them.. the last post was 10 days ago... as you can see above, some cabinets are now in ... and need to be finished by Wednesday when the floor is put in....

I will post more in the coming days.. since it's finally moving faster....

This week... the new kitchen table comes Tuesday so that will go into the one room that isn't already filled with boxes and appliances....the kitchen cabinets should be in except for the island...that has to be moved into the dining room until the floor is in on Wednesday.... the dining room wall unit also needs to be installed...  the appliances moved into place (right now the stove, the fridge and the dishwasher are in my dining room).. the countertops measured ....and the butcher block top for the island arrives.... busy week ahead!
